GREASE
Silicone HV Grease A great value grease! Suitable temperature range of 40˚C to 250˚C. Vapour pressure in order of 10-8mbar at 20˚C. Available in 100mg tubes and 5Kg containers and packaged for industrial users. Colour is white. Duravac HV greases offer improved resistance to acidic attack, due to the presence of phenyls in it’s molecular structure. These phenyls also offer improved lubricity, when compared to other greases. MOST OTHER GREASES DO NOT CONTAIN PHENYLS.

POLYPHENYL-ETHERS
Duralene 5 Diffusion Pump Fluid. A highly refined Polyphenyl-Ether diffusion pump fluid formulated to operate economically within the pressure range of 10-9 to 10-10 mbar. Reduced rates of backstreaming and creep provide a cleaner work chamber environment when compared with other fluids. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 2.7 x 10-10 mbar.

Santovac 5 Diffusion Pump Fluid. Same as above.

SILICONE FLUIDS
Phenyl-Methyl Silicone fluids have a proven reliability as a medium for the production of high vacuum with fast pumping speeds, coupled with outstanding resistance to oxidation. Silicone 704 and 705 are linear chain compounds, and Silicone 702, 737 and 747 are cyclic silicone ring compounds with variable size rings and Methyl to Phenyl ratio’s. Colour ranges from water white to a light straw yellow tint on all silicone oils.

Silicone Tetrasil 747 Diffusion Pump Fluid. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 5.0 x 10-8mbar May be used as a cost effective replacement for Silicone 704. Silicone Tetrasil 747 has total miscability with Dow Corning™ DC704. TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS (PDF)MSDS INFO (PDF)

Silicone Tetrasil 737 Diffusion Pump Fluid. May be used as replacement for Wacker™ AN30. Silicone Tetrasil 737 is an intermediate upgrade from Sil 702, where there is a requirement for greater ultimate working pressure, without the expense of using the Silicone 704 series of oils.

. Silicone 702 Diffusion Pump Fluid. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 2.5 x 10-6mbar. An exact replacement for Dow Corning™ DC702.

Silicone 704 Diffusion Pump Fluid. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 3.0 x 10-8mbar. May be used as a replacement for Dow Corning™ DC704 and Wacker™ AN140. - TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS (PDF)MSDS INFO (PDF) -

Silicone 705 Diffusion Pump Fluid. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 3.0 x 10-10mbar.

HYDROCARBON OILS

Satorrlene Normal Diffusion Pump Oil. A thermally stable water white Hydrocarbon oil having a lower saturated vapour pressure verses viscosity slope when compared with other Diffusion Pump Oils. The low molecular weight distribution results in high dynamic pumping speeds and low backing line temperatures. May be used as replacement for Leybold™ Diffelen Normal. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 3.2 x 10-8mbar. Ultimate Pressure LN2 1.5 x 10-9mbar. - TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS (PDF)MSDS INFO (PDF) -

Satorrlene Light Diffusion Pump Oil. As Satorrlene Normal but having a higher Saturated Vapour Pressure. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 8.0 x 10-8mbar. Ultimate Pressure LN2 1.8 x 10-8mbar.

Envoil 20 Diffusion Pump Oil. A cost effective hydrocarbon diffusion pump fluid well suited for applications where excessive contamination requires frequent fluid changes. Envoil 20’s relatively low boiling point enables high dynamic pumping speeds to be attained in processes where gross rates of outgassing are experienced. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 8.0 x 10-8mbar. - TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS (PDF)MSDS INFO (PDF) -

DP201 Vapour Booster Pump Fluid. Vapour booster pump fluid derived from a first class hydrocarbon starting material, protected against air abuse by an anti-oxidant of matched vapour pressure, principally used for the processing of high grade steels and alloys.Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 5.0 x 10-6mbar. May be used instead of Apeizon™ AP201. - TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS (PDF)MSDS INFO (PDF) -

DP202 Vapour Booster Pump Fluid. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 5.0 x 10-6mbar.

HYDROCARBON OILS - SYNTHETIC

MOBIL SHC629 Premium performance gear and bearing oil available in specially decanted containers for smaller sized users. NOW ONLY £15.00 PER LITRE. Thus is EXACTLY the same as Edwards catalogue number H11023011.

Duravac SP Rotary Pump Oil. Highly refined to remove volatile fractions, Duravac SP withstands chemical abuse from chlorine, acids, alkalis and halogens. Well above average resistance to oxidation and low vapour pressure enables Duravac SP to be used. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 10-8mbar.

Duravac Technical White Synthetic.

Duravac T.W. mechanical pump fluid provides superior resistance to chemical abuse when compared with conventional Hydrocarbon oils. A fully saturated fluid free of cyclic and aromatic compounds providing the lowest pump ultimate when compared with oils of a similar viscosity. Best suited for applications where acids, alkalis and halogen gasses are employed. Vapour Pressure at 20˚C, <10-8mbar.Duravac Technical White oils are water white in colour, except where antioxidant is specified. Antioxidant is straw yellow in colour. Many of our customers use this as an alternative to Ultragrade 19 or similar.

TW 68 Technical White Oil. A fully Saturated Paraffinic Oil obtained by Hydrotreating. The absence of unsaturated components results in a superior chemically stable product. Viscosity 68 cSt at 40C. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20oC 10-7mbar. - TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS (PDF) MSDS INFO (PDF) -

TW68A Base material TW 68 with low vapour pressure oxidation inhibitor providing extended periods between oil changes.Info as TW68.

TW 100 Technical White Oil. As TW 68, but having a higher viscosity. Viscosity 100 cSt at 40˚C. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 10-7mbar.

- TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS (PDF)MSDS INFO (PDF) -

TW 100A. As TW 68A, but having a higher viscosity.

Duravac 105 Rotary Pump Oil. A regular grade of vacuum oil suited to most applications when non-reactive gasses or vapour are being pumped, ultimate attainable vacuum using Duravac 105 will. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 10-6mbar. May be used as a replacement for Edwards™ 15 oil.

Duravac 106 Rotary Pump Oil. Similar to Duravac 105 in its application, Duravac 106 has a higher viscosity. Essentially used in pumps. Saturated Vapour Pressure at 20˚C 10-6mbar. May be used as a replacement for Edwards™ 16 oil.
